Surprise Medicine Bill this Month?

If you are a Medicare beneficiary or on a new health insurance plan and had a surprise when you paid for your medicines this month or last, that is an extra $200-400, it is because of the deductible for the higher tiered medicines.  Most $0 premium Medicare Advantage plans have a $395 deductible for T3, T4, T5 medicines before you pay the co-pay amount.  Each year the deductible resets so planning for a higher than normal expense at the first part of the year is important if you are on a very fixed budget.  You should know how your health benefits plan works and what to budget from year to year.   If you feel like you are paying too much for medicines or want to review your health care expenses, please message us for a complimentary review.
