Medicare Annual Enrollment Period AEP

October 1 is when carriers roll out brochure for the coming year Medicare Insurance plans.  October 15 is the actual date ENROLLMENT begins.

This enrollment period Annual Enrollment Period AEP runs through December 7 with coverage beginning January 1st.  Sometimes there is a SEP Special Enrollment Period allowing beneficiaries more time to choose a plan from more options because of special circumstances, like a plan that is CLOSING and leaving the medicare market….
